Plasma cell disorders represent one of the most complex and rapidly evolving areas of hematology. Multiple myeloma and other plasma cell dyscrasias, with their broad clinical spectrum, continuously changing diagnostic and therapeutic approaches, and requirement for multidisciplinary management, present significant challenges for both clinicians and researchers. In recent years, remarkable scientific and technological advances have enabled us to gain a deeper understanding of the biology of these diseases and to implement targeted, patient-specific treatment strategies.

This book comprehensively and systematically addresses the entire spectrum of plasma cell disorders—from diagnosis to treatment—under the light of current scientific evidence. It includes topics such as monoclonal gammopathy of undetermined significance, rare entities like AL amyloidosis and POEMS syndrome, as well as the management of newly diagnosed patients and modern therapeutic strategies for early and advanced relapses. Each chapter has been meticulously prepared by experienced academic experts in their respective fields.

Our aim is to provide a reliable resource that not only guides clinical practice but also serves as a reference in educational settings. While the chapters are written in a clear and accessible style, they remain in-depth and evidence-based, designed to enhance theoretical knowledge while offering practical guidance in patient management.

I would like to extend my sincere thanks to all chapter authors, contributing researchers, and the editorial team whose dedication made this work possible.

With the hope that this book will contribute to the better understanding and management of plasma cell disorders…
