In recent years, significant progress has been made in understanding the pathogenesis of diseases in the field of pediatric rheumatology. In conjunction with advancements in immunology and biology, the elucidation of mechanisms in rheumatic diseases has led to the use of biological agents in their treatment. The scope of applications for biological drugs is expanding, with new treatment options and molecules being added each year. Therefore, it is crucial to have a good understanding of the mechanisms of action, appropriate usage, as well as the side effects and safety profiles of these agents.
This book aims to address various aspects of biological agents used in pediatric rheumatology practice, delving into the detailed examination of their mechanisms of action, clinical applications, and safety profiles. I express my gratitude to all the professors and colleagues who have contributed to and worked on the creation of this book.
I hope that this book serves as a valuable resource for young colleagues dedicated to pediatric rheumatology.
Sincerely.
