ÖZET
Alkol kullanım bozukluğu (AKB), yalnızca bağımlılık süreciyle değil, aynı zamanda bilişsel fonksiyonları etkileyen nöropsikiyatrik bir tablodur. Kronik alkol maruziyeti, yürütücü işlevler, bellek, dikkat ve karar verme gibi birçok bilişsel süreci olumsuz yönde etkileyebilir. Bilişsel kayıplar, hastaların tedaviye uyumunu, motivasyonunu ve alkol bırakma sürecindeki başarısını doğrudan etkilemektedir. Bu kitap bölümü, alkol bağımlılığına bağlı bilişsel bozulmaların epidemiyolojik verilerini, nörobiyolojik mekanizmalarını, risk faktörlerini, değerlendirme yöntemlerini ve tedavi yaklaşımlarını ele almaktadır. Bilişsel rehabilitasyon, farmakolojik yaklaşımlar ve nöromodülasyon teknikleri gibi multidisipliner yaklaşımlar önerilmektedir.
