ANOREKTAL BÖLGE ANATOMİSİ

ÖZET

Anorektal hastalıkların yönetimi binlerce yıl öncesine dayanmakta olup, ilk olarak MÖ 3000–2500 yıllarında ortaya çıkan Edwin Smith Cerrahi Papirüsü’nde görülmektedir. Bu bölge hastalıklarının tedavisi o dönemde yaşamış olan Firavunların saray hekimi olan yüksek rahip Pepyankh tarafından anüsün içine sürülen akasya yapraklarından elde edilen bir merhemle başlamış olup tıp ve teknolojinin ilerleyişi ile sürekli gelişmektedir. Fakat tüm bu gelişmelere rağmen anorektal bölge hastalıkları hem doktorlar hem de hastalar için zorluk teşkil etmeye devam etmektedir. Anorektal bölge hastalıkları ile ilgilenen cerrahların ise hem doğru klinik tanı koyabilmesi hem de güvenli ve etkili müdahalelerde bulunabilmesi için bu bölge hakkında ayrıntılı bir bilgi donanımına sahip olmaları şarttır. Ancak anorektal bölge hastalıklarının yönetimi her zaman kolay olmayabilir ve dikkatli bir yaklaşımla ele alınmazsa potansiyel olarak ciddi komplikasyonlara yol açabilir. Sonuç olarak mevcut tıbbi ve teknolojik gelişmeler anorektal hastalıklar ile ilgilenen cerrahlara yeni olanaklar sunmakla birlikte bunların değerlendirilmesinde, karar verme süreçlerinde ve tedavi planlamalarında anorektal bölge anatomisinin iyi bilinmesi zorunlu hale gelmektedir.
