ABSTRACT
Arrhythmias in the neonatal period are rare but can be life-threatening. Although the most common arrhythmias are supraventricular tachycardias, almost any type of arrhythmia can be seen. Since hemodynamic deterioration may occur early in this age group, rapid diagnosis and treatment is important in patients presenting to the emergency department. This chapter describes the diagnosis and management of common neonatal rhythm disorders.
