ABSTRACT
Climate change is currently one of the most critical global concerns due to its severity and widespread im- plications. The consequences of climate change can affect not just the environment, but also the mental and emotional health of individuals. Therefore, the concept of mindfulness, which involves focusing on the present moment, is gaining more significance. Mindfulness is an approach that involves focusing on and accepting the present moment. Recent studies indicate that the practice of mindfulness can enhance individuals’ ability to cope with climate change and increase their level of awareness of environmental issues. This article scrutinizes the intricate connections between mindfulness and climate change, and analyses how these two concepts can influence each other positively, thus yielding favourable outcomes for society.
