ABSTRACT
Back pain is one of the major health care problems in daily medical practice. Epidural steroid injection (ESI) is a part of pain management in selected cases with promising results. In this report ESI technique, pertinent anatomy and action of mechanism of ESI will be reviewed.

ÖZET
Sırt ağrısı günlük tıp pratiğinde önemli sağlık sorunlarından biridir. Epidural steroid enjeksiyonu (ESI), umut verici sonuclarıyla seçilmis olgularda ağrı tedavisinin parçasıdır. Bu raporda ESI tekniği, ilgili anatomi ve ESI mekanizmasının etkisi mekanizmlari incelenecektir.
