ABSTRACT
Facial nerve paralysis occur due to traumatic or non-traumatic causes affect the daily life and psychology of the patients. Otolaryngologists, neurosurgeons, plastic surgeons and neurologists treat the different types of facial paralysis by the medical drugs or surgical and reconstructive operations. However, the results are not always satisfactory for the patient. Patients do not have recovery show us molecular biologists, geneticists, bioengineers and stem cell and tissue engineering workers should join this team as well. This article will mention about challenges with peripheral nerve paralysis, current strategies at the experimental and clinical level with the perspective of this collaboration thinking together for enhancing the facial nerve regeneration.
