ABSTRACT
Graphene and its derivatives have many potential applications in the field of medicine and dentistry due to its superior physical and chemical properties such as biocompatibility, mechanical strength and antimicrobial properties. Graphene has been trialed in almost all different fields of dentistry starting from implant coating to guided tissue regeneration continuing to restorative and endodontic procedures. Many more researches are also being conducted in order to closely assess and evaluate this material’s potential overlooked features. In this chapter we will sum-up recent studies and suggest other possible applications of graphene in dentistry.
