ABSTRACT
Immunoglobulin (Ig) G subclass deficiency is defined as the detection of one or more IgG subclasses 2-standard deviations below mean levels for age, while total IgG, IgA, and IgM levels are normal. The most common clinical presentation is recurrent sinopulmonary infections. Clinically significant IgG subclass deficiency diagnosis requires the detection of impaired response to polysaccharide and/or protein antibodies. In this section, the clinical manifestations, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up of IgG subclass deficiency will be described.

Keywords: IgG subclass deficiency; primary immune deficiency; antibody deficiency
