ÖZET
Kalça gövdeyi alt ekstremiteye bağlayan ve vücudun ağırlığını taşıyan büyük eklemlerden biridir. İleri yaşla birlikte kalça ağrısı insidansında artış görülmektedir. Gövdeyi alt ekstremiteye bağlayan bu bölgenin karmaşık anatomisi ve biyomekanik özellikleri nedeniyle derin yapılardan ve çevre eklemlerden yansıyan ağrılar tanısal zorluklara neden olabilmektedir. Kalça ağrısı yakınmasıyla başvuran hastada ayrıntılı anamnez ve sistematik fizik muayene, kalça ve çevresindeki yapılardan kaynaklanan patolojileri ayırt edebilmenin temel koşuludur.
