ABSTRACT
In this section, we explore distinctive ventilatory approaches for trauma patients. Injuries may directly affect the lungs due to trauma or indirectly result from injuries elsewhere in the body. Our discussion encompasses ventilation management considerations for patients with chest trauma and head trauma. The chapter delves into lung-protective strategies and introduces innovative ventilation management techniques.
