ABSTRACT
Due to the increasing expectations for refractive solutions in patients after cataract surgery, many different types of intraocular lens (IOL) designs have been introduced recently. There is currently no perfect lens available that can provide clear vision without increased aberrations. Enhanced monofocal or monofocal plus intraocular lenses (IOLs) may provide functional intermediate vision with similar distant visual quality of standard monofocals.
