ABSTRACT
Measuring body temperature is a basic method used in the evaluation of all pediatric patients. Measuring body temperature with oral, rectal and axillary thermometers are frequently used traditional methods be- cause they are accessible and can be easily applied to outpatients. However, sometimes incorrect results may be obtained depending on the chosen application. Recently, noninvasive methods have gained more attention due to their ease of use and the benefits of advancing technology. This article discusses various methods for measuring body temperature noninvasively in children and discusses future changes. It also aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of clinical applications and related technology.
