ABSTRACT
An earthquake is a natural disaster, causing fractures of the bones; it creates a serious disaster directly to the orthopedic health of the individuals. After the orthopedic disaster, individuals suffer from direct physical injuries as well as common issues related to the emotion. Orthopedic issues account for the majority of these health issues. A number of immediate and long term strategies are considered to improve disaster planning for orthopedic care. Dealing with such a disaster is too complicated and most difficulties are faced when the victims are orthopedic patients. There are overactive social responses to natural disasters, including providing counselling services to those impacted. Individuals who experience a traumatic event are at a higher risk of mental distress, including increased rates of trauma and stress-related disorders, like acute stress disorder, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and prolonged grief.
