ABSTRACT
In the evolutionary development of humans, the fine motor skills required for the ability to make and use tools have been possible with the fingers. Hand finger injuries are frequently encountered injuries in daily life. There are difficulties in treatment due to the anatomy of the fingers such as small bones, low soft tissue support, tensile forces of the tendons, and the fine balance of the ligaments in joint stabilisation. Two-way direct radiograph is usually sufficient for diagnosis. Classification of finger fractures is usually based on the location, shape, open or closed fracture. The aim of treatment in finger fractures is to restore functions painlessly. For this purpose, conservative or surgical treatment that will allow early movement and minimise soft tissue injury should be chosen. Patient compliance affects the success of treatment.
