ÖZET
Protezi koruyucu tedavi seçenekleri, genel olarak DAIR (Debridman, Antibiyotik, İmplant Retansiyonu) ve antibiyotik baskılama tedavisi olarak ikiye ayrılmaktadır. DAIR prosedürü son yıllarda daha sıklıkla başvurulan bir yöntem olup, akut dönemde daha az invazif bir cerrahi ile enfeksiyonun eradikasyonunu sağlayabilmesi ile popülarize olmuştur. Akut dönemde, uygun hastada DAIR prosedürü ile hastalar revizyon cerrahisinden kurtulabilmektedir. Modüler komponentin değişimi ve devamında uygun antibiyotik rejimi başarı için elzemdir. Çok düşkün ve komorbiditesi yüksek olan hasta grubunda ise cerrahi yapılamayacaksa antibiotik baskılama tedavisi ile enfeksiyonun baskılanması yöntemi tercih edilebilir. Her iki yöntemin başarı şansları çok yüksek olmasa da bazı hastalarda oldukça işe yaraması ve maliyet etkin olmaları sebebi ile artroplasti pratiğinde önemli bir yer teşkil etmektedir.
