ÖZET

Rezeksiyon artroplastisi, periprostetik eklem enfeksiyonlarının tedavisinde, özellikle revizyon cerrahisine uygun olmayan hastalarda enfeksiyon kontrolü ve ağrı yönetimi için kullanılır. Girdlestone artroplastisi olarak bilinen bu prosedür, antibiyotiklere dirençli enfeksiyonlar, yetersiz kemik stoku, nöromüsküler hastalıklar ve yürüme yetisi olmayan hastalarda tercih edilir. Cerrahi teknikler femoral ve asetabular protezlerin çıkarılması, derin debritman ve primer yara kapatılmasını içerir. Kalça eklemi füzyonu (artrodezi) ise, genç ve aktif hastalarda tercih edilmektedir. Kalçada ağrı kontrolü ve eklem stabilizasyonu sağlanırken, uzun vadede komşu eklemlerde dejeneratif değişiklikler gelişebilir. Cerrahi teknikler, uygun ekstremite hizalaması ve kalça pozisyonunun ko- runmasını hedefler. Füzyon sonrası bacak uzunluk farkı ve yürüme paterninde değişiklikler görülebilir. Her iki prosedür de uygun hasta seçimiyle başarılı sonuçlar verebilir, ancak postoperatif rehabilitasyon ve komplikasyonların yönetimi önem taşır.
