ABSTRACT

Sarcomas are a heterogeneous group of malignancies originating from mesenchymal tissues. They present significant therapeutic challenges due to their aggressive nature. Micronutrients, including vitamins and min- erals, play crucial roles in various physiological functions in the human body. Deficiency of one or more of the micronutrients may result in tumorogenesis and supplements of them may be effective in the prevention and/ or management of cancer. This chapter examines the relationship between micronutrients such as vitamins D, A, and C, zinc, selenium, and iron and sarcomas.
