ABSTRACT
Gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine tumors (GEP-NETs) are rare tumors that usually occur in the digestive system and pancreas. Interventional radiology has important roles in both the diagnosis and treatment of these tumors. Interventional radiologic procedures, starting with percutaneous biopsies from the primary tumor or metastases, include a wide range from transarterial chemoembolization treatments to various ablation techniques. In this book section, we aimed to provide general information about interventional radiologic procedures that can be performed on this disease, which causes mortality and morbidity.
Keywords: Carcinoma, neuroendocrine; Chemoembolization, therapeutic; Embolization, therapeutic; Radiofrequency ablation
