ÖZET
Tibia cisim kırıkları tedavisinden sonra en sık kaynamama oranın olduğu travma tiplerindendir. Kaynamama tedavisi sağlık sistemine yüksek maliyeti ve hasta üzerinde bıraktığı etkiler sebebiyle çok iyi yönetilmesi gereken bir durumdur.
Kaynamama durumunun en kısa sürede tespit edilmesi için gerekli radyolojik, laboratuvar, klinik değerlendirmelere yapılmalı ve en doğru tedavi yöntemi seçilmelidir. Bu duruma sebep olan başlıca faktörler sigara-alkol kullanımı, kronik sistemik hastalıklar, yüksek enerjili travmaya bağlı parçalı ve açık kırıklardır. Tedavide çok farklı yöntemler mevcut olsa da en sık kullanılan yöntem intramedüller çivileme yöntemidir. İntramedüller çivi ile diğer tedavi yöntemler beraber kullanılmaktadır.
Bu bölümde tibia cisim kırıklarında kaynamama tedavisinde intramedüller çivinin yeri, cerrahi teknikleri ve komplikasyonlarına değinilecektir.
