ABSTRACT
Trifocal intraocular lenses (IOLs) provide significant advantages by adding a third focus to the optic of the lens, allowing spectacle independence after surgery and fill the gap between monofocal and bifocal multifocal IOLs. They have a technology that is constantly changing and improving to provide quality and clear vision at all distances, high contrast sensitivity, and low photic phenomena. Many types of trifocal IOLs stand out with their different features, and choosing the lens that suits the needs of the patients is essential for patient satisfaction.
