ABSTRACT
Childhood TB is still among the leading causes of mortality and morbidity due to the treatment decisions and difficulties in its implementation. Treatment of tuberculosis in children usually includes first-line drugs such as isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide, and ethambutol unless drug resistance is suspected. Adverse drug reactions are among the most critical factors affecting treatment compliance during TB treatment. Early identification and management of these adverse effects is critical to optimizing the successful completion of therapy.
Keywords: Child; drug-related side effects and adverse reactions; tuberculosis
