Dear Colleagues,

Cardiovascular diseases are still an important cause of death in the world. Significant technological advances have been achieved in the field of cardiovascular imaging in recent years. With these developments, cardiac imaging methods have gained a very important role in the diagnosis, monitoring, and prognosis prediction of cardiovascular diseases and their use in current daily practice has increased.

This book titled ”Advances in Cardiovascular System Imaging”, aims to review the computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging findings of heart diseases, while updating our perspective on technological developments and new methods such as artificial intelligence and 3D imaging, fetal cardiac imaging.

I hope that this book will shed light on important advances for anyone involved in cardiovascular imaging, I would like to thank my colleagues and the entire Türkiye Klinikleri team who contributed to this book.
